Policies
This page summarizes the rules that govern bids, bookings, insurance, and disputes on Corze Evo. It is maintained by the Corze Evo team and describes current, in-product behavior. It is not a substitute for the Terms of Service; specific edge cases are resolved through support.
Binding bids
Every bid is a binding commitment to rent the vehicle at the bid amount plus any service fees disclosed at checkout if that bid is the highest at auction close. Bids cannot be retracted. A verified payment method must be on file before a bid is accepted.
If you win, the platform automatically places an authorization hold on your payment method at close and finalizes the charge on handover. See How it works for the payment window and cascade details.
Cancellation
Renters cannot cancel after auction close. Winning a bid confirms the booking. This mirrors auction-house convention and is what allows operators to price aggressively — a discretionary "maybe" from the winning bidder would break the market.
Exceptional circumstances (documented medical, bereavement, or government travel restrictions affecting the pickup region) are reviewed case-by-case through support. Approval is not guaranteed and is not a substitute for standard travel insurance.
Operator cancellations of a confirmed booking result in a full renter refund of the checkout total and are recorded against the operator's reliability rating. Repeat operator cancellations or cancellations issued inside 72 hours of rental start may result in listing suspension or account removal.
If a winning renter fails to complete pickup and does not respond to contact, the booking is marked no-show and the full authorized amount is captured; no refund is issued.
Insurance
Corze Evo does not provide primary insurance to renters or operators, and does not currently provide or independently verify renter insurance coverage. Renters are responsible for understanding any insurance requirements stated by the operator on the listing, and for confirming that any personal auto policy, credit-card benefit, third-party rental policy, or other coverage they intend to rely upon actually applies to the rental. Coverage varies and may exclude certain vehicles, values, or uses. Operators independently confirm whatever documentation they require at handover; the documentation an operator requires is disclosed on the listing.
Insurance requirements shown on a listing (including whether insurance is marked required or optional) are operator-provided terms unless explicitly stated otherwise. Corze Evo does not represent that any renter or operator coverage exists, is adequate, or applies to a given rental.
Operators are responsible for maintaining commercial rental coverage (or the equivalent per their jurisdiction) on every listed vehicle. Corze Evo does not verify operator insurance policies and does not guarantee operator coverage — operators are solely responsible for their coverage and any lapse or gap. Where an operator uploads insurance evidence for review, that review confirms only that a document was submitted and read; it is not a legal determination and not a guarantee of insurance coverage.
Insurance disputes between renter and operator are resolved through the parties' respective insurers, not through Corze Evo. Corze Evo does not adjudicate insurance disputes. Its role in a damage disagreement is limited to the evidence process described below.
Listing quality standards
Every listing must meet these baseline standards:
- At least 10 photos, following the photo requirements in the listing wizard (exterior three-quarters and profiles, interior, dash, cargo, distinguishing detail).
- Photos must depict the actual vehicle being rented, taken recently (within 90 days), and must not be stock photography or press images.
- Accurate year, trim, mileage, color, and transmission. Materially inaccurate descriptions are grounds for booking cancellation with full renter refund at operator expense.
- Honest disclosure of known flaws, prior damage, aftermarket modifications, and any usage restrictions.
- Written policies for mileage, fuel, deposits, smoking, pets, and geography.
Listings that fail review are returned with specific change requests in the operator dashboard. Repeated submission of substandard listings may result in operator removal.
Damage, deposits and disputes
Corze Evo's role in a damage disagreement is to hold the evidence, not to decide liability or to move money. At both check-in (handover) and check-out (return), both parties document the vehicle's condition in-product with time-stamped photos. Either party can also file an incident report with photos, which is recorded immutably and reviewed by a human. That record is the shared reference either party can use with the other, with an insurer, or elsewhere.
Corze Evo does not currently charge or capture a damage deposit automatically, and does not automatically charge a renter for damage. Deposit or security amounts shown on a listing are operator policy information only unless an amount is actually charged through a supported payment flow on the platform. Corze Evo does not place a separate deposit hold on a renter's payment method.
Any amount actually owed for damage is subject to the rental agreement between renter and operator, applicable law, the parties' insurer and operator processes, and any authorization the renter is separately required to give. Corze Evo does not adjudicate liability and does not determine what either party owes.
Prohibited use
Rental vehicles may not be used for: track or competition driving unless explicitly permitted on the listing, ride-share or livery service, off-road use outside listing-disclosed terrain, subleasing or transfer to a non-listed driver, or any illegal activity. Violations are a breach of the rental terms, may expose the renter to liability under the rental agreement and applicable law, and result in permanent account removal.
Bidding integrity
Shill bidding — bidding on your own listings, directly or via a related account — is prohibited and results in immediate operator removal. Operators cannot bid on their own auctions in-product; attempting to circumvent this detection is treated as fraud.
Coordinated bid suppression and off-platform side deals to circumvent the auction are also prohibited.
Service provider terms
Service providers listed on Corze Evo agree to the following terms. They are in addition to — not instead of — the platform policies and Terms of Service that apply to all accounts.
Platform commission. Corze Evo charges a platform commission (currently 15%) on completed service jobs booked through the platform. Providers agree to this when they list their services.
Non-circumvention. Operators and providers introduced through Corze Evo agree to transact and communicate through the platform for jobs that originated from a Corze Evo introduction. Deliberately taking an introduced relationship off-platform to avoid fees is a breach of these terms. This does not prevent the parties from working together on opportunities that were originated independently and outside of Corze Evo.
In-platform communication and payment. Service coordination and payment happen through Corze Evo's in-app messaging and payment flows. Contact details are shared only when the platform decides it is appropriate.
Provider conduct. Providers must keep their listings accurate, honor agreed quotes, perform work professionally, and respond to requests promptly. Providers may pause new requests at any time; inactive or unresponsive listings may be hidden from the directory.
Suspension. Corze Evo may pause or remove providers who breach these terms, repeatedly ignore requests, or otherwise harm the marketplace. Suspended providers are notified with a reason and may appeal through support.
Account suspension and appeals
Corze Evo may suspend or remove accounts for the reasons above or for patterns of behavior that materially harm other users. Suspended users are notified with a reason and may appeal through support. Appeals are reviewed by a human, not automation.
Changes to these policies
Material policy changes are posted here with an effective date and, where they affect open bookings, communicated by email to affected users. This page is the current source of truth; screenshots of older versions are not binding.
